The door opens and closes so tightly, and the dryer is so light that it moves all over the place when you try to either open or close the door. This should be addressed in the installation, stick it to the floor or something!!

Dryer works great but vent hookup on back has enlarged diameter for vent hookup and standard vent hose does not attach properly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

For the ducting, page 12 of your installation instructions, which you can see here: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=31-16775-5.PDF - states that you would need to use a rigid or UL-listed flexible metal 4” (10.2 cm) duct when venting your dryer.
If you have other questions about installation, we'd recommend referencing the manual above.

Good product for the price

The dryer functions well. Clothes are done on the first round, even thick towels. The only thing we do not like about the dryer is the vent trap. It is plastic and almost next to impossible to get out. We returned the first dryer thinking it was broke. The second dryer is the same way. We have to yank so hard to get it out, that I feel it will break at any moment.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I do like the dryer, because the house already had a GE package, I bought the dryer and washer to match.

GREAT PRODUCT

I just bought this washer last week, so I have only used it a few times. So far, I am very pleased with it. I like the choice of settings. I wanted a washer with an agitator, so I did some research and found this product was highly recommended.
