Affordable Dryer

Efficient at present. However, product is very light and easily moved. This causes concern with possibly crushing the vent ductwork to the vent outlet. I had a 25 year old Maytag that would not budge if you leaned against it. This dryer I have to move it constantly away from vent outlet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not a great product

I have not had this dryer a year and it has stopped working twice. I purchased both washer and dryer Summer 2019. I am not satisfied with this purchase. First time they stated it was the timer, the next time it was the high limit thermostat. I'm very disappointed. I know that the dryer is not going to work because the light is very dim. If i had the choice, it will never be GE.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good dryer for the money

The only thing that I do not like about the dryer is that when I put sheets or blankets in to dry, they just wad up in a big ball and do not dry the middle. I have to set a reminder to go separate them halfway through the dry cycle. The drum itself is huge and pretty quiet.

Dryer does a great job...love size of tub and the lint screen in the front. It's easily accessible and easy to clean. Variety of settings is great and extended tumble very heloful!

The size is wonderful and price was fantastic. The rating is due to the noise it makes and knobs hard to turn. It sounds like a washing machine running with a thump at it turn. It is so loud. Has some nice features. We have always been a fan of GE just not enjoying the noise.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
