Simple to work.

I liked my previous dryer and it lasted 17 years, but I decided to go with a nondigital dryer as there is less to break.

I have had this dryer about a month now. We are a large family; so, it runs an average of twice a day. This thing is wonderful. Doing laundry has become so much easier. However, I did pick this model because I could control the volume and/or turn off the buzzer altogether. Make sure you get this model--don't get the one without buzzer-control option. The buzzer on this thing is loud, long, frequent, and annoying. I usually just keep the buzzer turned off. Other than that, I love this dryer.

We have been very happy with our new GE dryer so far. Prior to this purchase, we had a different brand and we disappointed. This dryer perfoms well, is very quiet, and drys everything nicely.

Doesn't dry towels in less than an hour

I can do as little a 4 towels and it still takes over an hour. Yesterday 90 minutes for 4 towels. I use the towel cycle on my washer so am doing it right. Not overloading..Does not matter!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
