We got rid of a "fancy" LG red dryer that was extremely unsuccessful for us, and bought this basic GE which we LOVE. It is easy to use, reliable, does an outstanding job on all sizes and descriptions of material, blankets, delicates, normal cycles. Thank you GE.

Hard is use

The main knob that you turn to select the cycle you want to use is very stiff and hard. Plus, the knob is slick, so if your hands are a little damp from the laundry, your can't turn it. There needs to be some larger indentations to grip on to so you can turn it. Other than that, it works pretty good.. The buzzer is a bit annoying!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Gets the job done on time

I wanted a dryer that did all the basic functions without all the wi-fi extras. This one has different temp settings (air, low, med, high) as well as a timed (10, 20, 30 min etc.) settings for each of those temps. That's really all you need. Clothes dry well, also has the extended tumble feature for fewer wrinkles. Large barrel, low noise. Had it for a month now with great performance.
I would recommend this to a friend!
