This dryer works perfectly. Drys quickly and is very quiet. A couple reviews I read complained about the lint catcher being poorly designed , I will admit it does stick at bit getting out and you have to line it up just right to get it back in but not any type of deal breaker. Love this dryer ! Hopefully will get long use out of it !

Very Quiet and Dries Quickly

We had to replace a Whirlpool Cabrio dryer that often he'd to run through two cycles to dry the clothes. This dryer holds more, is super quiet and dries things quickly the first time.

Quiet, and has features I actually use

I purchased this dryer as part of a matching pair. I've found it to be quiet running and I like the Extended Tumble feature. I also like that you can timed dry or use sensor settings. The sensor seems to work well for getting the clothes dry. The door does not open a full 180 degrees, it opens probably 120 degrees. I can still step past it and it's not really a deal-breaker, I just have to be aware of the door's location as I'm moving about hanging laundry. GE makes a good product and I will continue to guy GE products.

Buy this dryer if you love lint!!

I am very dissatisfied with this dryer. It leaves lint all over our clothing. When I open the dryer door clods of lint fall out. I never had this problem with my old dryer. Certain synthetic materials, like sports bras and synthetic socks, come out completely covered in lint balls which are not fun to pick off. Other than that, this dryer is fine. It dries clothing nicely, but now I have to air dry a whole slew of clothing that I never had to air dry with our old dryer.
The attached photo is of my daughter's soccer socks. They look so messy with all the lint attached to them and it is virtually impossible to pick it all off. I don't know what it is about this dryer, buy like I said, clothing did not come out of our old dryer looking this way.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Large capacity inside yet smaller unit so fits great in my small laundry area, drys quickly, easy to clean.
