Does the Job, No Frills

The build quality is far inferior to the Samsung that it replaced; the metal is pretty thin, the dials and buttons feel cheap, and the door is flimsy. That being said, it does the job; not great, not horrible. One thing I’ve observed after using it a few days is the low heat setting is too low temp-wise, so it doesn’t end up drying the load.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor Quality, Problems 1 month after warranty ende

This is my second new GE dryer in 2 years - the first one kept putting black marks on my clothes and I paid to upgrade to this one thinking it would be better. In month 13, 1 month out of warranty, it makes noise when the drum turns even when it is empty. Something has come loose around the drum inside. I sincerely regret that I bought a GE appliance. The GE Corporation is nothing like it used to be.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
