Really Bad Design

The dryer dries good, but that is all a dryer is supposed to do, I suppose. But I hate the design! The door sticks out about 1/2 inch beyond the dryer frame and looks like it isn't all the way shut. You can see the screws down the side of the door which makes it look like a homemade make-do. The top has a pyramid shape so that a lot of room is lost for folding clothes on top. It sits about 2 inches higher that my GE washer and yes the feet are adjusted as low as they go. The back of the dryer has a massive addition which makes it sit out 6 inches or so further from the wall than my old GE dryer. The top is sloped rather than flat which makes it easy for things to tip over. There is a two inch gap on the door top which makes it look like they put the wrong size door on the unit and makes it look really cheap. All in all it is a REALLY BAD design. I'm age 69 and have always bought GE washers and dryers, but I will rethink any future purchases.

Nice dryer, but has a musty smell inside

I love this dryer and I also bought the matching washer. I would have given it five stars but it has a musty smell inside of it. I have only had it for two or three weeks but someone is coming out to look at it. The washer and dryer are very nice. I would recommend them.

Doesn’t do the job

I wanted so much to love my new dryer….. I don’t. It will not dry as expected. I now have to hang all my bath towels and heavy items up until they are “almost dry” before I can put them in the dryer. Even with them being mostly dry it will take more than an hour to complete drying them. I’m not doing large loads and they are spun completely out when they come out of the washer. My dryer vent in my house is freshly cleaned too. The dryer is heating so I have no idea what to do - other than live with a bad purchase decision.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Slow drying dryer

It takes a very long time to dry things. I've never had a dryer take 2+ hrs. to dry towels.
