The dryer has a surprisingly large capacity for its dimensions. We had to go with a smaller washer dryer set (under 29 inches in width) so it would fit down the stairs to the basement. The feeling was that we would lose capacity and functionality going with the smaller set, but it couldn't be further from the truth. It is working out fantastic!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works great except...

I've purchased many GE products over the years because they were GE products. That will change after this dryer purchase. I hate the lint trap. It has not fit right since day one. I am super afraid of it catching on fire because of the lint that the trap doesn't catch.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
