Our old GE dryer was still working after 15 years, but we wanted to upgrade. Best decision we could have made. So much quieter and finishes in half the time.

I like this dryer

This dryer was almost evicted on it's first day in my home. It has a feature that alerts you when your load is coming to an end - and OH MY GOODNESS was it extremely loud and aggravating. Fortunately, I read in the manual where you can elect to turn this feature off or down. Of course, it was OFF for me. Other than that, the dryer has been amazing. It catches lint really well. It gets my clothes nice and dry on the first load - far different from the Whirlpool dryer that it replaced. This was referred to me by one of the sales reps when I went to exchange a newly purchased Whirlpool set. It was certainly worth the exchange and upgrade.

I love this dryer except for one feature. The large knob that must be turned to select the correct cycle is very hard for my arthritic hands to turn. I wish it pulled out for an easier turn, then could be pushed back in to start the dryer. Otherwise, it’s great. I also love the lint filter!

GE does it again. Consistent quality products throughout the decades. Great dryer features, low level sound operation, dries clothes perfectly. Great design, energy efficient and reasonably priced.

The dryer works great. I love the auto dry feature. I purchased the GE dryer after having trouble with a GE washer I purchased. GE replaced the washer with an upgraded model. They're the best warranty help I've ever had with an appliance.
