we had a couple other brand dyers and we were not satisfied with them. This GE Dyer is fantastic! We have an Airbnb and guest love it too!

Great Simple Dryer

I've only had this dryer two weeks, but so far I like it. It is a simple basic dryer -- high, medium, low heat settings with controls for cotton, casual and delicate settings, as well as timed drying, no heat and extended tumble. Still additional setting choices withing the cotton, casual and delicate settings are for cotton -- more dry, optimum dry, and less dry; casual -- more dry, less dry and wrinkle care; same for delicate. So far I haven't used the extended tumble nor the timed drying, but the other settings work well. I have dried six pair of adult jeans on the optimum dry cotton setting and they came out completely dry. With my previous dryer I always had to add dry time. I dried a mixed load of joggers, t-shirts, socks and boxers on less dry casuals and they came out completely dry. With my previous dryer I always had to add dry time. Nice big drum and the light inside when you open the door is nice, but in my opinion not necessary as I often leave the door open (oops). As I stated, I've only had it two weeks. I like it.

Just okay

I find it slow to dry and the buzzer is VERY annoying. You have to lift out the screen to remove lint and I prefer one with easier access. it works okay, but I'm not thrilled.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
