We just bought a new washer and dryer, after having the old ones for over 19 year. It was time for updates. The dryer is a larger capacity, but takes up less room in our laundry room. It is more efficient. Clothes dry much faster. And there are more options as to type of clothes, and temperature. I like the option to use or not use the buzzer at the end of drying time. Then I never forget, and leave the clothes in the dryer to get wrinkled. Dryer is also very quiet. At first, I would open the laundry room door to check that the dryer was still working.
