Just received dryer today and I'm very happy with it. I purchased the matching washer six months ago and have had no issues. I'm excited to have this new dryer. I'm sure it will perform as well as the washer.

So far we are enjoying this dryer. It is light-weight, simple and works well. We didn't want anything fancy just something to fit our king sized comforter.

A nice dryer with an obnoxious buzzer

The old dryer I had never worked right. It came with a temp sensor that NEVER got the clothes DRY. When I first got it, I took clothes out and hung them up in the closet, only to get them out later to find them mildewed. While they had been hot when they came out, once they cooled down they were still damp. That is why I specifically looked for a dryer with an adjustable temperature selection and no sensor! This dryer fit the bill. I like having the different cycles for whites, darks, bulky items, delicates, etc. Being able to select my own heat setting and extend the tumble time helps to ensure clothes are dry and not still damp. Also, a BIG selling point was the ability to mute the buzzer. It is HUGELY LOUD and very obnoxious. The one thing my old dryer had going for it was that it played a nice chime melody that while getting your attention and letting you know when the load was done, also was not obtrusive or harsh to the ear. This dryer I have set next to off and I can still hear it all over the house. For someone who has a dryer in a basement, or if you have a huge house, this would be nice. Not so much for smaller homes on the same level. One thing I HATE is that this dryer not only has a pretty harsh buzzer, but it goes off every couple of minutes for I don't know how long before the dryer actually shuts off. I don't need to know every time the dryer shifts cycles. I only need ONE buzzer when the unit turns OFF. When I dried my first load of clothes I must have made ten trips in to answer a buzzer, only to find that the unit was still drying. Once is enough. This dryer is actually pretty quiet though compared to my old one. I have to listen to hear it running. (Too bad the washer isn't as quiet.) Overall, a nice unit that works well, has lots of variables to allow you to customize your load, and gets things dry.
