Only lasted four years. Had to get another one

This is the second dryer within four years. GE’s quality is abysmal compared to years ago. This is not an inexpensive dryer. With COVID we couldn’t shop around. Bought the matching dryer 5 months ago. Never expected to be buying a new dryer now.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dryer has nice features. Love the Optimum Dry cycle. The reversible door is a nice feature too. the lint catcher by the door does not do a great job. most of the lint goes out the pipe. I know this b/c I have it vented in my basement and get more lint from the pipe than the dryer. overall very nice dryer
