Several options from which to choose.

The dryer does not seem to get hot enough. Takes a long time to dry towels, sheets, etc. In talking with other people, none seem to be happy with the quality of any product anymore. I believe quality control is now obsolete.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Seven years ago I bought a Hotpoint washer and dryer. Within the first year I was wishing I had gone with something different, but at the time I thought all I needed was basic. After replacing the selection knob 6 times I decided to bite the bullet and upgrade. I am so happy with this GE dryer. I have named her Greta because I say she growls when the buzzer goes off. I am pretty sure the buzzer on my former dryer stopped working within the first year and it is wonderful to hear Greta growl and let me know my clothes are ready! We will be going back to get the matching washer soon.

Softens clothes, efficient, quiet

Our dryer came with the new construction we purchased. This particular nationwide builder only invests in the best products and to see this machine work, you see why: It is quiet and efficient, easy to use and beautiful to look at. When I was sending out pictures of our new home, family and friends ooh and ahh over the washer and dryer, not a normal thing for people to comment on, but you understand why: they are very sleek and smartly designed. Not that looks are everything, but it is a extra amenity to the essential quality of how well it works.
