Such an improvement over last dryer!

The dryer works so fast and is very quiet! I like the lint trap in the front bottom; it makes it very easy to clean. I am also impressed with the handle installation. Some of your competitors had a plastic handle glued to the front; I felt it would break off in time. I also think your dryer is very attractive; sleek and futuristic looking. I will definitely replace my current washer with a GE when it dies.

Buyer Beware...Drys well BUT..

I have no problem with the dry time. It actually dries quickly. However, the middle knob that controls what setting you desire (Cottons, Casuals, Delicates, Timed dry) is very hard to advance. I am careful with all appliances. The turning mechanism broke about a year and half after purchase. I'm surprised it lasted that long. Very poor design. I expected quality from GE. We also have a matching GE washer. SO far so good on that. I am just extremely frustrated with the dryer knob.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Only have to run one cycle for high and medium heat, but usually two for law heat. That's my only complaint.

Decent dryer

It is a decent dryer. I would expect that models improve over time, but guess that’s not the case. We have to keep it on delicates -low heat to prevent things like numbers of jerseys being ruined etc. the larger capacity is nice but clothes is often wrinkled. The door is VERY hard to open, sticks and needs a lot of force. My kids are always asking how to open it. Overall it does what it needs to.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
