Its a good dryer, but the door is hard to open. and I have to push it 2 or 3 times to close it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

While in use the dryer is so quiet I can leave the laundry door open and not hear it. I am very happy with my purchase.

Knobs too hard to turn. Not clear as to where to turn. Door opens to side instead of down.

Hi, Thanks for choosing a GE dryer for your home! We apologize for any difficulty you're having with turning the knobs. Dryer timer knobs will turn in both directions (clockwise and counter-clockwise) when "setting" the dry time. The timer turns clockwise when the dryer is operating. Also, the dryer door is designed to open from the side.

The main dial is hard to select proper option. The door is hard to close. You must push hard on it to make sure it latches. The buzzer even in the quieter position is very loud. It does dry the clothes, that’s why we bought a dryer
