I love my dryer and my favorite is the light inside. I have always bought GE and never had a problem. They get old and wear out.

I bought the washer and dryer set! Loving it. Clothes are dry and quick. The washer does a great spin cycle which helps get most of the water out.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very disappointed-no automatic shutoff

The options on the selector dial indicate the dryer will function according to the dryness one selects for the clothes and then turn off. However, it keeps running until you open the door to retrieve the clothes. The only way to get it to shut off is to use time drying. The features are unclear and misleading. I haven’t had a dryer in the past 35 years that hasn’t had this feature.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sensor cycles automatically determine fabric dryness and allow you to select Less Dry if you want your clothes slightly damp at the end of the drying cycle or More Dry if you want them to feel drier. Timed cycles run for a selected time and automatically shut off.

An excellent quality product, made to solve the key purpose of drying clothes (any type, and in various modes we want), at such a reasonable price. I have used this for over 4 years and had zero issues with it.
