This is a very good dryer for price, dry time is about 25% less than my last dryer which was only 3 years old but I wanted matching set (washer & dryer)

Simplicity is sometimes best!

My wife and I wanted a dryer that, well, was good at drying clothes and this one fits the bill! There are no fancy bells and whistles, just a well-made appliance that does a great job drying clothes. Compared to our old dryer there are some great benefits - our old dryer had just one small vent in the upper right corner inside where hot air entered the drum; on this unit the entire back of the drum is vented to let hot air in, which allows for far more even distribution of air while drying. We've noticed our clothes are a lot fluffier and *much* less wrinkled than before. It's also a lot more quiet which is nice (I work from home and my desk is right next to the laundry room). The drum is also made of a special aluminum metal that seems very nice. My only complaint - I wish the "end of cycle" buzzer wouldn't go off every minute or so when you utilize the extended tumble feature. Other than that - great job GE; oh and we appreciate very much that this dryer was MADE IN THE USA!!!

I love the features that both my washer and dryer have. The different load sizes and the soak features. There are more setting on the dryer also and I am enjoying the choices I have
