Works great, my Mother worked 30 years at GE and have used a lot of their appliances. This was made in US and I try to buy us products.

Good Performance-but

I’ve had no issue with the performance but the washer is a little loud. I have gone back to a washer with an agitator so that may explain the additional noise.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought a washer last year. It works great so thought we'd look for a dryer. Decided to buy the GE model. This is awesome. Many functions and runs super quiet.

Love side door access

This has made a world of difference in getting clothes from the washer to the dryer! I have the washer on the left and the dryer on the right, and I love how much easier it is to load the laundry into the dryer now! My old dryer was a top-down opening door and this one is much better! We chose GE as our new brand because our GE fridge has been an amazing product as well in the last year and half.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Takes forever to dry

Sometimes we had to run through three cycles to get clothes to dry, as long as three hours. Had a service person out and he said replace the timer. We have not received that yet but don't think that is the problem. I just think it needs to be hotter.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
