Great dryer when it wants to work. Every drying mode stops half way through the cycle. Not truly impressed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi,
We're so sorry to hear that your dryer has been stopping in the middle of a cycle and we understand how much of a pain that is.
If the dryer stops during a cycle, check the following:
Make sure the door is closed and latched securely.
Check the power supply. Electric dryers require a separate 220-volt outlet, 30 amp dual breaker or two 30 amp fuses.
Make sure the front of the dryer is not blocked causing it to overheat.
When dryers are put in the automatic cycle the timer will advance sporadically so it may at times appear that it is not advancing at all.
If the issue continues, we recommend service. You can schedule an appointment by calling 1-800-432-2737 or schedule online at https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm

This dryer has the basics of what I wanted and looked for in a dryer with a few extras. Only had it for a few months but has worked great with no issues.
