Great dryer

We bought this GE dryer to replace our old one which finally passed away after 44 years of faithful service. That old workhorse of a dryer was a GE, so naturally we wanted another GE to replace it. This new dryer has all the features I wanted, and then some. It actually dries the clothes faster and they come out less wrinkled. I loved my old dryer, but this one is so much more efficient. It's larger and quieter, too. Love the light inside the drum---socks can't hide anymore! So glad we stayed with a GE product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not for anyone with pets that shed

I have 5 pets, all with black hair. This dryer works fine for drying clothes but does a horrible job of pulling pet hair off. I can run a blanket with pet hair on it and it's still there when I pull from the dryer with hardly any of it on the lint screen. My previous dryer did a wonderful job of removing hair, so I am finding this very annoying.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If you launder garments that have pet hair on them, you may find that the pet hairs remain on the clothes or blankets. This is due to a static cling effect or an electrical attraction between the tub and clothes, especially synthetic fibers and/or napped or brushed fabrics. To eliminate or lessen this problem we suggest you try using fabric softener.

Ok had this new dryer couple of days but seems to work very well. Extremely quiet. Not too fancy but has a few nice extra settings. Pleased that I can set the signal off , medium or loud. Looks nice in my laundry room, even better 8f I had rhe matching washer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Large Drum

Bought dryer with washer to match. Very large drum capacity. Dryer is quite, various heat and timing settings for all fabrics, reversible door is a great feature.

This product has a simple to use dial method, and can be opened at any time. Two things I want in a dryer. It also has things like extended dry.
