Excellent purchase

Extra large capacity drum, quiet operation, multiple functions for fabric & drytime, does an excellent job of efficiently drying clothes. I am very happy that I decided to go with this GE dryer over the other leading brands.

I have never had a gas dryer and if I could I would change to electric the gas does not dry the clothes as well it takes forever and I do not know if it can be adjusted

Works well but is a bit loud

Have only used once and was surprised at how loud it was. I previously had laundry area in the garage so wasn't close during operation, but I will definitely keep the laundry room door closed while using; otherwise a fine appliance.

Not Assembled Correctly

Dryer works okay, on the slower side. Very disappointed on assembly of dryer. Did not notice until after the delivery was made, but the panels were not aligned properly leaving gaps and spaces. Luckily I had a GE repair man over to fix my brand new GE refrigerator that has been trouble since we received it (3 repair calls so far) and he was able to take apart the panels and realign them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am very happy with my GE dryer. We have four generations of family living in our house, so we do laundry nearly every day. We live in a house that’s over 70 years old, so it has narrow doorways and stairs. The GE dryer is small enough to fit in my house, yet large enough to dry big loads. it is a real work-horse.
I would recommend this to a friend!
