Gas Dryer is a special order not always in stock at the store. This unit has been quiet, and does the cloths quickly.

Nothing spectacular

I've had my GE washer for about five years now and so when my dryer went kaput (another brand) I decided to try the GE gas dryer. The size is great, but it is so noisy! My thoughts are that this dryer may not last as long as the washer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this appliance, very simple, sturdy, gets the job done without the hassles. I had a super fancy dryer that cost more than the washer and dryer I bought from GE but it had so many sensor that it keeped breaking down on me. Simple is better.

I have only had the new washer and dryer for a month, but so far I love using them.
They have all the features I need without too many unnecessary bells and whistles!
