This dryer is fine. It does the job and heat is really hot. I am not pleased with the door though. My old dryer opened from top to bottom. I changed my mind in the store from one brand to GE. I wish the salesperson would have shown me the how the door works and asked me about the placement of my washer and dryer. I didn't discover until after the delivery guys left when I began washing and drying clothes that the door opened left to right, right into the washer where I stand. I called the store and they were not very customer friendly as they explained it would cost more money for them to change the door or to get someone handy to do it instead. I'm sorry I bought this dryer as it is a pain in my legs.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great gas dryer that is huge. Door is a bit tough to shut but over time I’m sure will get broken in.

This dryer has been great for myself and family of 5. It dries clothing quickly. Many options. Only downfall it’s a little noisy.
