Failure 11 days after warranty expired -

Thermal fuse and dryer coils failed 11 days after the warranty expired. I purchased GE because my prior dryer (also GE brand) only needed service once in 24 years. I only replaced it because it was looking beat up externally. My new one needed service 13 months after purchase. If you buy, get the extended warranty - GE doesn't make them to last any more.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stopped working after 3 months

Dryer worked fine for 3 months then stopped heating. Dryer tumbles but there's no heat. I vent was clear and I even put on new dryer vent hose and still doesnt heat . Can't get service for 10 days! Not very happy with this at all..

GREAT FEATURES!

This is a great dryer! Has many dryer cycles, which I wanted. Dries quickly and holds a good size load, It is a replacement for my old one which matches my washer. Runs quietly and buzzes when finished. I'm lovin' it!
