The dryer works well but is definitely too noisy. Also, there is no pause switch, something that I find necessary.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Large Capacity! Knob Operation Too Tight

Lots of drying options are great. I've had many dryers, but this is the first time l'll use the end-of-cycle signal feature, as this dryer has a low sound option. The heat setting knob is way too difficult to turn. Do not purchase this dryer if you have weakness in your hand. You gave to grip the knob as though you are openning a tight, slippery bottle cap. Otherwise, high heat setting gets really hot and dries clothes quickly.

Quiet and Efficient

As I would expect for a company that has been making motor mechanisms for decades, I find this unit quiet and efficient. The feature settings are numerous, and overall I like the unit. I subtract one star on the rating, due to the only negative to the unit to date, and that is, the lint catcher, located in the bottom of the door opening, when full, overflows into that door opening and is the first thing you have to deal with before removing any items. It's not a huge problem, but noticeable.
