If it’s not drying, I’m crying.

We absolutely love our new dryer. It’s quiet and gets the job done. We wash weekly so as to not accumulate too much clothes. A feature that I love is that the dryer itself does not feel hot to the touch nor does my small laundry room get hot as a result of using the dryer for 45 minutes.
All the heat stays inside the dryer and for a weeks worth of shorts and tshirts about 40-50 mins drying time is enough. The same amount of time goes for towels and bedsheets.
I only wanted a basic dryer that did not have too many bells and features. I mean, it’s a dryer right?
I also washed my very thick mattress pad and used the dryer and it came out very fluffy. My new basic dryer has exceeded expectations and love the simple aesthetics for my minimalist laundry room. It’s a pretty white color.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poor drying time

Takes very long to dry, more than an hour. Disappointing.

Not the GE appliances of the past

GAS DRYER STOPS WORKING AFTER ONLY 3 USES!

THIS GAS DRYER WORKED PERFECTLY 3 TIMES, BUT NOW WON'T EVEN START. NOT A GFCI ISSUE OR BREAKER ISSUE. IT'S PLUGGED IN. LIKELY A FUSE BLEW INSIDE THE DRYER. GE SERVICE CAN'T GET HERE FOR 9 DAYS, CAN'T WAIT. CALLED A LOCAL REPAIRMAN. HE'LL FIX AND THEN I'LL INSIST GE REIMBURSE ME. IF NOT, I'LL REPEAT THI REVIEW ON MULTIPLE SITES AND WILL NEVER PURCHASE A GE PRODUCT AGAIN. 3 USES & THEN STOPS WORKING??? NEVER HAPPENED W/ SAUSUNG PRODUCTS WE OWNED BEFORE.

Could do Better

Features like the start button are plastic cheaply made. Door is light but hollow sounding not sturdy and strong. Clothes wrinkle easily even with extended tumble. Ok dryer not sure I would buy again.

Vibration noise are horrible

I feel this dryer is very cheaply made. I would not ever purchase this model again or recommend this to anyone else as well.
