I have arthritis in my hands. Center knob is hard to turn and there's no clicking sound to let me know where I'm at.

No dryer for a week

Our GE dryer was installed yesterday. First thing I noticed was how heavy and sturdy it is. Installation was perfect and I started to catch up on laundry. Everything was as expected. This is a very good machine.

I had read reviews about several different brands of appliances and actually shopped at different stores to see them . I was impressed with the features of the GE appliances and wanted one that was easy to operate. I made my decision based on advice from my handyman who works on appliances. He told me that GE products were very reliable and that he rarely gets a call to repair them.

Good Basic Dryer

If you want a very basic dryer, this one seems to work well. I've had it for a couple of weeks and it gets the job done. Don't expect any fancy bells and whistles though.I wish it had an option for medium-high heat. You have a choice between cotton, which dries on high heat, and casual clothes, which is medium.

There’s a lot of buttons and chimes, not a problem but I would love to have a washing machine that simply just wash and fold my clothes
