I do not live the dryer. 80 min and the clothes still not dry. My wife hates it. It takes about one hour 20 minutes for the clothes to dry. The LG dryer I had before to 40 min to dry with the setting on Medium Heat
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The best option to dry most loads is to set the timer on 60 minutes and the temperature on Cottons Regular. You may have it on Fluff or Cool Down and that wouldn't provide any heat. Only had dryer for two weeks, and it seems to work well; however, it has no long term history.
