It's very large inside. Can finally wash bedspreads and blankets. Like the new agitator function, it certainly moves the clothes around. Very pleased with both units.

The clothes just don't dry fast enough. Had to put a medium to large load in 3 times for a total of 95 minutes on the timed dried cycle and they still were damp! Ended up hanging them on the line to finish the job...was a real hassle!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello- We are so sorry to hear you're having this issue with your dryer. We can understand your frustration and will be happy to help! We recommend inspecting the vent coming off the back of the dryer. Check to ensure that the vent hose has not kinked or collapsed. The vent should be rigid metal or flexible metal only. We don't ever recommend using plastic flexible ducting. Plastic flexible vent hoses may collapse more easily, reducing air flow and possibly collecting water. If the dryer cannot rid itself of the excess heat and humidity it will build up inside the dryer drum. This type of build up may cause the dryer to be hot to the touch, sweat, and may increase the drying times. If your vent looks fine, we recommend taking advantage of your warranty and reach out to GE Consumer Service at 1-800-432-2737. If you have any questions in the future, please let us know. Overall, an excellent product. Only complaint is that the main knob does not turn like the others. May just be my dryer. However, I would recommend this dryer over any other.

I purchased this after bad experience with problems with Electrolux dryer’s back heat panel, so I researched and found GE has the PERFECT full back panel like the (old days lol) and quality! So glad for this Great Machine, I love it

Disappointing

I've used GE dryers for many years, and have always appreciated their clean design and ease of use. But this one is a disappointment: it takes forever to dry heavy fabrics like towels and jeans; the construction seems light-weight and not terribly robust; it does poorly with large loads, even of light fabrics. I do not recommend it.
