Drying time is excessive

I’ve given this dryer over 2 years of use before writing this review. This is the worst dryer I’ve ever owned. The lint filter is so small that it needs to be cleaned several times when doing towels that have any substance to them. The drying time is very long. If I have a large load of laundry I need to break it up into 2 loads in the dryer. Even at that a medium size load will usually take 2 hours. I regret ever buying this GE dryer/washer pair. My old Maytag pair which lasted over 25 years worked way better. Frankly I can’t wait for the dryer to break down so I can buy something new which won’t be a GE.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is the second unit I have purchased. The first was left when we sold our house and the one in the new house was not at all acceptable so I was thrilled to see that this model was still available. It is perfect, does the job well and is quiet! Love It!
