It has a cheaper feel than my 20 some year old Maytag. It just feels cheap. I don’t like the lint screen it’s like window screen and I’m afraid it’s not catching much. It’s not catching nearly as much lent as my past dryers. But it’s doing the job

Very happy with my new GE Dryer. Even though it is just the basic dryer, it does what I need it to do—dry my clothes. I didn’t realize just how long my old dryer was starting to take to dry clothes until I got my new one. .

I like this dryer because its easy to use and has large capacity inside. I only gave it 4 stars because the door is a little hard to close. You have to push it shut hard or slam it, but other than that I think its good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Had to run 2x for clothes to dry

We had this dryer for about a month now, it is brand new when we got it. It is part of our home purchase. However, it seems no heat is used at all to dry our clothes even if the setting is Optimum Dry and Extended Cycle is On. We have to run the dryer 2x which is costing gas expense which is not helpful nowadays.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
