Awesome Gas Dryer

I recently bought my first home, and decided to go with this GE gas dryer. I was previously in a rental home with the exact same dryer, and I never had an issue with it breaking or anything, and it dried my clothes amazingly! I’ve only had this one for a week or so, but based on my previous experience with the same dryer I know I will continue to love it!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Concern with the dial design to turn on

Not impressed, especially for the money

I'm incredibly disappointed in this dryer and would return it if that was an option. The air dry cycle does not dry clothes unless you reset it multiple times. It stops after a while and you have to continually turn it back on. On my old dryer the cycle would run until the clothes were actually dry. I've tried using the timed cycle and that doesn't fully dry clothes either. It is such a pain and unnecessary—if my 18-year-old dryer could get this right why can't a new one?! Disappointing. Additionally, you have to SLAM the door to get it to close properly. There is no gentle close on this dryer. I'm worried the door is going to break since I'm constantly slamming it. Finally, this dryer is extremely loud. Again, you'd think using new technology this dryer would be quieter than an older model. Nope! This dryer has been an incredible disappointment and I really wish I could return it for a better model. I bought it for the large size; it was not worth it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Regarding the air-fluff cycle, this option is designed to use little or no heat. For a more effective dry, especially for damp items, we recommend using the “Cottons” setting for regular heat, “Casuals” for medium heat, and “Delicates” for low heat. Proper adjustment of the temperature settings in combination with the drying time should result in a more effective dry.
We also understand that loud noises can be frustrating; therefore, we highly recommend checking out this article: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=17411&
This article goes in-depth on the types of noises you may hear during a drying cycle. Some of the noises may include a humming sound, thumping, or even squeaking. These noises are common during a drying cycle.

Not too gadgety , just right
