Had a GE dryer for over 20 years before we had to replace it. New one works well and hoping to get 20 years out this one as well

Vent Connetion Issue

The dryer was delivered with a vent connection that would not allow a 4" vent tube to be hooked up. The vent connection in the dryer was too small for a 5" and about the same as a 4". We were forced to jury-rig the vent to continue to use our current 4" vent pipe. Possibly a manufacturing defect but was really frustrating
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We however do not recommend messing with modifying the sizing on your own. We would suggest getting one of our licensed technicians to come out to look at the unit to help with what options you have.

Logy dryer has a great design. I always look for the door hinges because that’s where they seem to always fail for me. I also like that there’s not a lot of bells and whistles. It does the job and it does the job well which is what we all need at the end of the day. Thank you for the design features in this machine. Also the price, but it was not too bad either.

Takes too long to dry a load - 2-1/2 - 3 hours is too long.

If your clothes are taking too long to dry, there may be a few reasons why this issue is occurring. First, your dryer’s lint filter may be full; we recommend cleaning the filter before every load. Additionally, we recommend separating large heavy fabrics such as towels from lightweight items to ensure proper tumbling. Heavy fabrics contain more moisture and take longer to dry.
