Received the dryer and the first time we tried to use it, the timer didnt work. Called for a repair and told them the timer would not advance...just runs and runs all night if you dont turn it off manually...first available appointment was 10 days out...Repairman came out WITHOUT the part and said that it needed a new timer and he would have to order one. Received the part after a week, and now waiting another week for the appointment...so basically a month for a brand new dryer...ridiculous!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Satisfied with replacement of previous dryer

It's nice and large and seems to be working well. A little hard to turn the controls to where you want them. And some planning as to which settings are best.
I had to replace my well-used one when it seemed to getting where parts needed replacing. Continue to use propane heat.

Good basic dryer. The knobs are a little stiff and feel as though you are forcing them to move to selection

It's a good dryer with a few quirks.

The door closes very hard. On my 25 yr old maytag dryer it replaced, the door would latch by an easy push. This needs to be slammed to close & latch. The control knob is very tight & not easy to adjust or move a slight amount. the controls options are a good amount of choices & it does dry everything just fine.
I would recommend this to a friend!
