I'm a technology driven person and would've loved to purchase a more technologically dependent dryer, but given the need to purchase a dryer now than later, the more advanced ones were not immediately available to purchase at the store. However, I'm not disappointed with this purchase as it's basic and it does what it was intended to do.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Although not fancy, it is a horse, works great, easy to regulate and exactly what you need. Love the GE dryer. Have to admit the end of cycle buzzer sound is a bit annoying but you can always turn down the volume, but a more pleasant sound would be great!

This dryer, overall is good. It doesn’t dry quite as well as I had hoped but does an adequate job. The buzzer is extremely loud.

GE Gas Dryers fills our need

We replaced our Fisher & Paykel Gas Dryer with this GE Gas Dryer because we had so much Good Luck with our Fisher & Paykel that was made by GE. With import cost I was told Fisher & Paykel got out of the US market for that reason.

The dryer works great, but the lint trap is difficult to take out and put back in. The door is also hard to open and close.
