Has there a lot of good options, but the drawer does not open all the way, which makes it inconvenient for us to load the dryer

Design issue

I have already had a dime slide between one of the baffles and the drum. This seems to be a design flaw since I have owned a dryer for 45 years and never had that before. Otherwise except for this it is working well.

I love my old one than this one. I don't understand the lint is in the dryer more than in the filter.

This dryer is great. Works great, quiet, great size. The only draw back is the lint filter. It’s right when you open the door. Now, if you don’t have a pet/pet hair, maybe this isn’t a issue. But for us who do, there is a pile of lint and hair on top of the lint trap. So you either have to pull your clothes over this now dirty lint trap or attempt to clean out the lint trap prior to removing your clothes. Either way your getting your clean clothes dirty again. Seems like this could easily be fixed to the top. It’s really annoying and seems like a big miss.

Defective

Upon our initial use of our new dryer we discovered that the drum kept rotating when we opened the door to check the clothes. We contact GE and were able to schedule a repairman. The issue seems to be with the dial and he ordered a new one. It is not the door switch since the igniting the drum operates properly. We are waiting for the situation to be resolved.
