It works fine but not as good as what it replaced. Seems to take longer to dry and doesn't do a very good job at trapping dog hair. My 20 year old dryer performed better at drying and trapping the dog hair. Also the lint trap screen is flimsy.

After four days of deliberating which dryer to purchase, I have a GE washer I wanted a GE dryer. I was very used to a large 7 ft.³ Kenmore I ended up purchasing a 7.2 GE dryer it was very different for me. Door is on the wrong side Old dryer got a lot hotter a lot quicker I do like it, but it’s gonna take some getting used to…

The dryer door swing side can be reversed. You can follow the instructions listed on page 17 of the manual at this link:

I love my new GE gas dryer! It has a very sleek appearance and great features. It also is more quiet compared to the one I replaced. I love that the finished buzzer has volume control!

This is a brand Dryer. I set it up last Sunday and used it three times now it won’t start. I have a service call scheduled for Monday the 12th.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
