Takes too long to dry a load

It takes hours to dry a load of clothes. I had a Whirlpool prior and I could dry a large load within 1 hour. I only replaced the Whirlpool so that my dryer matched my GE the washer machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's good but i'm concerned as it makes loud noises frequently (and no it's not the laundry itself).

Takes too long to dry clothes. It takes over 1 hour to dry six towels. It seems like it doesnt get hot enough. Timer doesnt seem to work right. Takeing so long to dry clothes is wasteing our gas.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Drying times do vary based on wetness of the clothing, cycle selected, fabrics, etc. It is not abnormal for this dryer to take upward to an hour or more to dry a load of clothing.
