There is no manual to tell you how to clean the lint area, it is a tight fit and the front panel does not remove, so how do you really clean this area. Yes the lint-basket is removable but trying cleaning inside the lint-area.. UGH
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very reliable compact sized dryer

I bought this dryer a month ago to replace a similar GE dryer. For me space is at a premium. This dryer does not take up much space. In addition, I needed a product that was small enough to fit down the steps to my basement and this unit made it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Really good variety of controls

I've had this dryer for a short time, but I really like the way the clothes come out. You can set it to go on and off, and make sure wrinkles are all out, and it is very easy to empty the lint catcher. It's also quiet, but the alarm can be set very loud, so I can hear it from the other room.
I would recommend this to a friend!
