Lot's of settings but doesn't dry well.

I bought this about two months ago. It doesn't get hot enough to dry a load in one cycle.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Purchased the dryer and it works like the one I replaced. The prior one was 30 years old. I am expecting the same results.

The dryer was only a week old and after a couple loads of drying cloths, it just totally quit working. Couldn't get any heat out of it. It was a natural gas dryer which is all we have ever used. Couldn't figure the issue out, so we returned it and bought a different brand Washer and Dryer. Sorry to be negative, we just didn't want another issue with it, if we would have had it repaired.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Had to send first one bought. Heat sensor not working. So far so good.
Too short of power cord in length. Not able to exchange for a longer one without
added cost.

120 days in and epic fail

We have owned this product for about 4 months and lost all heating functions. After reviewing a uninformative owners manual, we did the typical checking of vent and duct work, cleaned the lint filter, and verified gas connection. The bigger disappointment is that there isn't any information in the manuals regarding thermostats or thermal fuses in the manual to see if we could repair/diagnose ourselves. This is my third GE product and each time I am more and more disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
