A gas dryer that drys your clothes to perfection

It has been wonderful to have a gas dryer that works very nice and our clothes come out nice and fresh smelling

Just installed and needs repair

I purchased this model gas dryer yesterday to replace my 6 year old unit which required an expensive repair. My requirements for the new dryer were simple: work quietly and dry clothes. It was installed only moments ago and when the installer turned it on to test that it was heating, he said, "Well, that doesn't sound right". I was standing next to him and had to agree. There is a loud humming that increases when the unit is heating and continues to increase the longer the unit runs. When I called the store I purchased it from, I was told the GE repairman could not be here until the following week. So, here I am with a brand spanking new dryer that didn't work the first day. This does not inspire confidence for how the machine will hold up over any length of time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought both a dryer and washer. The dryer works great but the washer sucks due to the amount of selections.

Purchased a few weeks ago to replace my old dryer which fizzled out. This is a very nice unit - very quiet and dries very well. The clothes seems to be fluffier and softer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is a great dryer. We love that it has an inside light. The features are basic, but all anyone really needs. So far it has been a good value.

The dryer that came with my home old (1year old) had a serious problem with the shut off switch in the door. It was so poorly constructed that it literally fell apart. The GE switch is really rugged, and if that is any indication of the rest of the product, this dryer will last a really long time
