Lots of features, a bit slow on the dry

We needed to replace our 40+ year-old dryer and, after some searching and research, wound up with this GE. A couple of primary reasons were 1) cost and 2) fairly simple without a lot of extras.
After using it for a couple of months there are two primary observations. First, the drying heat (even on high) is not as great as our previous dryer. Where it used to take about an hour to dry a load, it now takes about 10-15 minutes longer. Second, the buzzer could be louder. The dryer is in the basement and it is hard to hear the buzzer. That said, it works fine, is simple to operate and hopefully will give us good service for a long time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this a month ago and I’m so happy that I did. Each setting works perfectly for the clothes that I put in. Everything comes out wrinkle free and ready to wear!

Just received the dryer. The delivery men were very helpful and were on time. So far dryer works great. Dries the clothes in half the time of my old dryer. So far, very impressed!!

Quiet Dryer

Bought this on the recommendation of our appliance repairman- Very happy . very quiet, dries even heavy towels efficiently. I would like to have had a larger lint filter. Otherwise very happy.

Great Dryer

Works well on all cycles. Clothes come out with very few wrinkles. The dryer is very quiet when it's running.I also like the large capacity for my king size quilts. Very pleased with this dryer and all of my other GE appliances!
