I bought this 1 year and 7 months ago and have been very pleased with it. I am widowed so I'm only using dryer twice a week. Dryer no longer gives out heat, but that doesn't surprise me since the previous Maytag did the same thing after 1 year.
I guess taking an extended warranty for a year would have been worth it.
