Do not buy if you use Comcast

Samsung advertises this as a smart TV but they have no Xfinity or HBO Go app on their smart hub. The picture is very good but no real way to stream 4k content if you use Comcast/Xfinity.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations

The overall tv is great but has bad setup problems to start with. They can be fixed but for people who are not willing to work with the problems for a few hours or more I suggest you get something else. The tv is very good but like I said is shipped at least with what I got had many start up problems that take much time to work out and is very upsetting at lest I would say to most who pay this much for a tv to start with. You have to use to the usb upgrade port or the lan internet to upgrade at first and don't forget before you do this to reset the tv one maybe two times in the setup feature or you still will have problems believe me. Not to mention this the apps are not yet available at least when I WROTE THIS AT THE TIME.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations

Audio Out volume can't be controlled with TV remote!

Remote doesn't control audio out! I was happy until I discovered this _basic_ feature was missing from the TV. I keep checking for updates to see this resolved to no avail.
Please fix your product.
The issue: this TV (UN65JU7100) should control the audio output from the TV thru optical or any other aux output with the remote. I shouldn't have to get IR Extenders or be forced to use additional remotes just for audio control!
Samsung, you know that flat screens typically have terrible audio coming from the built in speakers - which means the majority of your customers will use external audio - so fix this defect in your product please! I'd like to just set one volume on my external speaker system and use the TV to control the volume increase/decrease.

Yellow Verticle Line on Screen

I purchased a similar model UHD HU8550 18 months ago and it developed a vertical line on the screen that will cost as much as a new TV to fix. There is only 12 month warranty so I am not happy about the short life span of this product.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations

Although this tv does have a lot of "smart features" the old fashioned frame on this tv is of some concern as these frames have been a problem in the past on other tv s .Just hope that will not be the problem here. suprised it is not more streamlined looking .Picture is good not as good as the store they never are hope this changes in the future when more programs are 4k .

Nice TV - with good price. Setup is easy, picture quality and sound is excellent. Awesome apps and smart tv features, voice recognition, hand gestures, 3D options etc

Tv freezes ,shuts off by itself , apps don't work and remote breaks and is very cheaply made. It also has trouble detecting the Internet . Full internet feature sucks and doesn't work right. Had problems since day one and haven't received help.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, cheap remotes break very easy

My new 65" Samsung HDTV

So far my new TV is just another great Samsung product. I must say every Samsung product that I have ever owned has definitely lived up to their quality and so far my new TV seems to be like those other products. The picture is clear, crisp and bright... Absolutely perfect...
