Once again, plastic base broke and cant find part

Initially worked well, screwed on the base wrong and it cracked. Super cheap, not good quality. I would recommend not buying this, as it is almost guaranteed to break. I find it unethical for companies to make products like this that will end up in the landfill. Do your homework and get a product that will have replacement parts.

Poor Design

The blender itself works great but the cheap plastic base has broke rendering the blender useless. After searching for hours for a replacement part, it seems they do not offer one. Unless they make it an option to buy just the plastic base, I do not recommend anyone buy this blender. I would appreciate some sort of resolution to this problem.

Very dissaoointing

I bought this blender thinking , “hey it’s black & Decker and an actual glass! This will be great for smoothies and what not!” WRONG!! Motor almost immediately started giving off a burned plastic smell that progressively got worse! I blended smoothies only using the smoothie button and it suddenly stopped spinning although the motor is still going. I took off the glass jar to find that the rotating piece that grips the blades has completely snapped off and it has some cheap looking glue on the underside! Boy was I fooled! I suppose I should’ve gone with ninja! You get what you pay for I suppose!

Problem with the Base

I bought this blender for my wife for Christmas 2017. I knew that she would love that it came with the jars so she could mix and take them to work in one jar. It's a great blender. We've been impressed, but today, while making the smoothy, it made a funny noise, the base stopped working, and when we opened it it was very hot. It's still under warranty, so I need someone from Black and Decker to contact me about a replacement.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Blender but Lousy Base!

This is the best blender I have ever owned... but just like several other reviewers here, I was shocked to see that the plastic base on the blender has cracked in 2 places! I searched for a replacement part and cannot find one anywhere! I am very disappointed.

Jar base broken

I have had this blender for about a year and today the plastic base on the blender jar broke! I can't find anywhere to get a replacement for this part. It is a great blender and now we have to settle with using the personal size smoothie cup.
