Smoooooothies

I bought the blender for the smoothie attachment. The performance is amazing, The auto cycle blends the ingredients and has produced the best consistency while blending various amounts of powders, liquids, and solids including ice cubes.
Best bang for the blender buck!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

The base started leaking soon after purchase and then the plastic part attached to the glass broke. What to do?

Good Blender, Can't Find Spare Parts

Great Blender

I bought this blender because I had an expensive blender that just frustrated me all the time and one day I was looking for a quick fix in the evening until I can buy another good blender. The rest is history because I have been using it for the past 6 months and it works perfect and great consistency. The main reason I like it is because the temperature and consistency of my smoothies are nice and cold compare to the expensive blenders that I had before that make my smoothies warm even with ice added. Overall its a good blender for the price because I can even do ice-cream just as the expensive and big name blenders. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because of the number of times I have to repeat depending on what I am making. example, I have to repeat 2/3 times when I do fruits with seeds to make it smooth. I don't mind doing that so I love by blender.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great until the plastic base cracked

This is actually a pretty good blender but after several months i noticed that the clear plastic base started to crack. where can i get a replacement?

Broken plastic base can't be replaced

Don't buy this blender. I have been sure to take care of this very capable and atheistically pleasing blender... however the plastic base has broken after only a couple months use and I can't replace it. Massive waste of an otherwise good blender.

Good blender until recently

I bought this blender about 2 or 3 years ago. Over the past week we've been having problems with the blades not spinning while we're trying to bled. We had to run the smoothie program 2 times and still were having problems. Anyone have any tips?

Works great, but plastic jar base breaks!

I've used this blender happily for just over two years, but like the other reviewers, the plastic jar base broke and the liquid comes out. As the other reviewers noted, there is no way to get a replacement for this plastic part. This should be addressed by Black & Decker. I expect good craftsmanship from them and this is a known problem!
