Waste of Money

This blender is garbage, the plastic that holds the blade into the blender has cracked. Which as you can see from other reviews is a big problem. Save your money and buy a good blender.

Back & decker blender

We bought this blender 3 months ago and I'm very disappointed with the quality the plastic and glass broke while we were using it. I highly do not recommend this blender specially if you have little kids.

Plastic base cracked

I really loved that the blender had a glass pitcher and it worked well. However, it is poorly engineered because after having it less than 9 months the plastic base cracked and a piece broke off. I am really disappointed.

I bought this for my mother and 1 for myself but the blades aren't as good anymore and the lid cracked I wish I knew where to buy another blade and lid

Plastic base is broken

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I too bought this blender and love it ... first the smoothie jar melted in my dishwasher - which I know is my fault. But today I tried to use it and the plastic base is stripping - leaking. Can I get a replacement part? I think you should think about changing it from plastic to glass or metal, since I am seeing other comments.. thanks

I love this appliance otherwise but like other reviews express, the plastic base on my unit cracked and now is completely broken. I can't find parts anywhere either.

Great power but screw on base is flimsy
