Blended great, but...

I bought this BL1820 digital fusion blender about 5 months ago. It worked great. Then today the small circular piece that screws under the jar came loose and it won't screw back on. I've been looking online for a replacement part for hours and nothing. Where do I need to go for this? Do I just need a new jar? I don't want to have to buy a whole new blender. Thanks.

Not a very industrious blender for Smoothie lovers

I enjoy smoothies as part of my daily routine. I had bought this model due to the Fusion blade being marketed to quickly crush ice. and make smoothies and I had previously went thru two blender by some of Black and Decker's competition. I also liked that it had a 2 year warranty. After buying it and using it for a while I found myself having to water down my smoothies so that the unit could blend it up. Then within a year and a half the motor has died in the unit and since I've no longer got my receipt I'm now finding myself having to go buy a new blender.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pretty good blender, but smoothie jar a challenge

We had the version of this with a glass base. The blender worked well, the smoothie jar really requires a lot of liquid to blend meaning you're probably better off just using the blender. In any case, we're stuck with the smoothie jar since I dropped the base and it shattered on the tile floor. No luck finding replacement parts anywhere. Any ideas?

Great blender except jar base broke

Received this as a Christmas gift. Great blender for making smoothies and for preparing cooking ingredients. The jar base screw cap dropped and broke. Now, can't use blender anymore...looking for spare parts but hard to find.

Very happy with this blender until...

I've had this blender for a number of months. 1 month ago the jar base cracked slightly but now has grown to the point of being unusable. I've looked online for replacement parts but, so far, no luck.

Love the ease of use, but the base...

I bought this to replace a very old blender that seeped every time I used it. I absolutely love the ease of use especially for making smoothies. I also really enjoy the smoothie jars that came with the blender. My only issue and it is major enough for me to give this product 3 stars (I was actually hesitating between 2 and 3) is that the base of the glass blender is made of plastic, and mine has unfortunately broken thus rendering the large glass container useless. I've been trying to find a replacement part for the plastic component without success.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Broken base

I was looking on these Black and Decker page hoping to find a replacement base. I came across the reviews and wanted to add my situation. I laid my jar on its side to completely empty the contents. I turned away for a moment and it had already fallen to the floor. I take full responsibility for the incident. I would be happy to be able to purchase a new base.

Plastic Base Leaking

I have had this blender for a little under 6 months and 3 months ago the base cracked and starting leaking. I have looked everywhere for a replacement base and cannot find one anywhere. The personal jars work well but I would like to be able to use the main jug.
