Broken base

Love the blender but also need a replacement base. I wish it was easier to find a replacement part. This shouldn't be so difficult as this is an obvious issue with the product.

Poorly Designed Plastic Base Ring

Went to use our blender for the third time and noticed that the plastic base/collar is cracked. This seems to be the most common problem everyone is having with this blender. It is an obvious design flaw.
I cannot not even begin to comment on how it really works since it was on used twice to make a milk shakes.
I am not sure why this product is still on the market for sale.
I wished I had read these reviews before I purchased it.
Do not buy. Stay away.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good til the base cracks apart!

Loved this blender, especially the smoothie feature. Used it almost every morning, even with a leaky and cracked base. Eventually the base totally gave out and cracked into pieces. Its a shame cause the whole blenders useless because of one cheap plastic part.

Great until it isn't.

Loved this blender, but like many others...the base plastic ring broke and no amount of searching turns up that part. What gives? I would love to keep using my blender but don't want to use it with a cracked piece...such a shame that a tiny plastic piece causes so much trouble!
If it weren't for that piece, my rating would be a 5!

I purchased a FusionBlade Digital Blender recently and had been enjoying the product, but the clear plastic ring that tightens onto the bottom of the jar cracked - the blender still worked for a while longer, but eventually it cracked again beyond repair. I searched online for a replacement part but was unable to find one. Seems to be a design flaw, as I have noticed that many other customers had a similar experience. It's unfortunate because this blender made great smoothies and crushed ice very effectively. Just didn't last very long.
